Parent working in classroom

A parent co-op is a non-profit preschool where parents and teachers work together to ensure the welfare of all children. Each family chooses a participation level and shares in the planning and operation of the school under the supervision of professionally trained staff and teachers.

A cooperative preschool is a growing and changing organization. The school depends upon ideas, and members are encouraged to suggest new ideas and changes for the improvement of the school. You, as a participating parent, can shape the program that helps develop your child. You are vital to the functioning of your child’s school and collectively with teachers and children all parties learn together.

Children feel a strong sense of home and school working together. In many ways, we are like one big family. As a parent participation preschool, we offer families a unique environment designed to foster parent-child relationships through active participation, community events, seminars and open communication.
